Edelstahl Sleeves & Edelstahl-Schutzummantelungen

Product Description

Stainless steel braided sleeves are designed to protect hoses, cables, and wires from wear, corrosion, and blowouts. They offer high levels of durability, flexibility, and aesthetic appeal, making them suitable for various applications.

Stainless steel knitted sleeves are created by knitting fine stainless-steel yarns into a tubular structure, making them very elastic. This elasticity makes them an ideal choice for covering purposes. The stainless-steel fibers used in these sleeves provide high resistance to temperatures and thermal shocks, particularly useful in glass production where molten glass and quenching processes are involved.

The fine fibers ensure a super soft, scratch-resistant medium that prevents any marks or scratches on the glass surface. The elastic knitted structure makes maintenance work easier, as these sleeves are easy to apply and remove from rollers. The thickness of the sleeve wall can be adjusted to suit specific needs. For instance, a thicker wall offers better shock absorption in case of glass impact, while thinner walls might be preferred in applications where roller speed is more important than cushioning.

Knitted constructions are highly elastic, allowing a single ’nominal‘ diameter to cover a wide range of diameters due to their ability to expand and contract. These sleeves can withstand temperatures up to 700 °C under optimal conditions. Additionally, they can be made from steel yarns blended with para-aramid fibers, reducing costs.
